ACTION REQUEST!!!!
Who's going to decide the TPA debate?   You or the unions?
The U.S. Senate will vote as early as Thursday afternoon to end debate on Trade Promotion Authority and vote for final passage.

We want it to pass.

Problem is we're hearing that for every one phone call some congressional offices are receiving in support of TPA, they are getting 10 calls against it.  Organized labor and "progressives" are lighting up the phone lines on Capitol Hill urging their Senators to oppose TPA.   They see free trade as an economic "race to the bottom."

But we know they're dead wrong.

Trade agreements open markets.  They level the playing field.  They create economic opportunity and jobs.   In Illinois, exports are our livelihood.  With the price of corn sitting $1 dollar below the price of production, now is a good time to pick the phone and tell Senator Durbin and Senator Kirk that you support new markets.

Let's not let opponents of free trade decide this issue for us.    Please call both of your U.S. Senators today and ask them to vote for Trade Promotion Authority.
If you called last week, thank you.  We need you to call again.
U.S. Senator Dick Durbin - 202-224-2152
U.S. Senator Mark Kirk   -   202-224-2854
